Look up contractor licenses and permits to make sure they’re reliable. The Better Business Bureau and Angie’s List are also fantastic resources to see if your chosen contractor is as good as they say they are!

Ask the right questions
When you find the contractor you want to work with, it’s important to know what questions to ask. For example, ask for references and what they do differently than their competitors.
